Grape Hyacinth Blanket

This is an easy and beautiful blanket for beginners.  Buy the yarn kit by click the following button.

Use the Kalos Dk yarn #01, 5ch, sl back to the first st to form a ring.

Round1: Use Kalos DK#01, 3ch(this count as 1dc), 15dc in the ring, sl to the 3rd st of the 3ch to join, total 16sts. Fix the #01 yarn, do not cut and put the yarn to the wrong side. ( watch video)

Round 2: Turn the fabric, face to the wrong side, use the hyacinth color yarn, start from any st, 1ch ( this doesn't count as any st), (1sc, 1tr) in the same st, (1sc, 1tr) in each of next st, sl to the 1st sc st to join.

Round 3: Turn the fabric, face to the right side, use #01 yarn, 1ch in the sc st of last round ( this is the st between 2 pop-ups), this 1ch count as a sc, 3ch, skip one st, 1sc to the sc st of last round, repeat (3ch, skip one st, 1sc) till this round finished. Sl to the 1st ch st to join.

Round 4: Use #01 yarn, 1sl to move the st to the 3-ch space, 3ch(this count as a dc), 2dc in the same space, 3dc in each of the next 3-ch space, sl to the 3rd st of the 3ch st to join. Fix the yarn and do not cut the yarn.

 

 

Round 5: Turn the fabric and face to the wrong side, use the hyacinth color. 1ch ( this doesn't count as a st), 1sc in the same st, 1tr in next st, 1sc in the next st, repeat this till this round finished and sl to the 1st sc st to join.

Round 6: Turn the fabric and face to the right side, use #01 color yarn. 1ch at the sc st of last round, this count as a sc, 3ch, skip one st, 1sc , repeat (3ch, skip one st, 1sc) till this round finished, sl to the 1st ch st to join.

Round 7: Use #01 yarn. 1sl to the 3-ch space, ch3(this counts as a dc), 2dc in the same space, *2sc in each of next 3 space, 3dc in next space, 5 tr in next space, 3dc in next space**, repeat from * to ** 2 more time, 2sc in each of next 3 space, 3dc in next space, 5 tr in next space, sl to the 3rd st of the 3-ch to join. After this round , the fabric turns to aquare and the the middle st of 5tr is the corner st. ( 68 st total)

Round 8: Use #01 yarn, 3ch ( this counts as 1dc), 1dc in each of next 13st, *(2dc, 3ch, 2dc) in next st ( this st is the middle st of 5tr, which is the corner st), dc 1 in each of next 16sts**, repeat from * to ** twice more, (2dc, 3ch, 2dc) in the corner st, 1dc in each of next st, sl to the 3rd st of the 3-ch to join.

 

Round 9: Use #01 yarn. 3ch ( this counts as a dc), 1ch, ( skip 1st, 1dc, 1ch) 7 times. *(2dc, 3ch, 2dc) in the corner 3-ch space, 1ch, 1dc in next st, 1ch, ( skip 1st, 1dc, 1ch) 9 times**, repeat from * to ** twice more, (2dc, 3ch, 2dc) in the corner 3-ch space, 1ch, 1dc in next st, 1ch, skip 1st, 1dc, 1ch, sl to the 3rd st of the 3-ch to join.

Border:

Round1: Use#01 yarn, start from any st, 1ch ( this doesn't count as any st), 1sc in each st, 1hdc at the join seam ( pls watch video for picking up at the seam), (1sc, 3ch, 1sc) in the corner 3-ch space. repeat till this round finished, sl to the first sc st to join.

Round 2: Use Hyacinth Color yarn, ch1 ( this doesn't count as a st), 1sc in each of st, (1sc, 3ch, 1sc) in the corner 3-ch space, repeat till this round finished, sl to the first sc st to join.

Round 3-4: Use #01 yarn, same as Round 2.

Round 5: Use #01 yarn, do reverse sc in each st, 5reverse sc in the corner st.
